Everyday Renaissance Man, Austin Stofferahn - Web Biography

Austin Stofferahn is a current day renaissance man. In other words, he is a well rounded man of many talents, knowledge on different topics, and interests. Austin is an impressive and interesting individual with a number of enthusiasms and admirable traits. He is creative, musically inclined, well educated, physically active, and serves for The United States of America.


Austin is from Conneaut Lake, PA and graduated from Conneaut Area High School in 2016. While in high school Austin played both varsity boys soccer and lacrosse. After graduation, Austin enlisted in the Air Force National Guard and 5 years later, is still serving. Austin is currently a senior at Slippery Rock University pursuing double majors in Marketing and Economics.

Austin holds the title of Senior Airman and has been in the United States Air Force for 5 years. Austin shares that he recently completed various tests and qualifications to be promoted to Staff Sergeant in the near future. "Hopefully I will get a promotion from an E-4 to an E-5, Staff Sergeant soon", Austin says.


Austin knew he wanted to go to college and the Air Force allowed him to do so without incurring the costly financial burdens associated with attending university. Austin is currently a full-time student pursuing his undergraduate degrees.

Austin explains, "The Air Force has helped me prioritize my physical health and put fitness in the forefront of my life." The Air Force requires Austin to complete routine physical training tests which he shares is one of his top priorities to succeed in.


Austin chooses to live a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle by exercising 4-5 times a week and eating clean, nutritious meals in order to keep high energy and take good care of his physical body and meet PE test requirements.

In addition to education and athletics, Austin is intensely creative and enthusiastic. Austin is a car enthusiast or in his own words, "a big car guy." He owns two cars of the same BMW 318 ti model. Austin keeps his dream car, Mitch, in storage for use in the summer time only. "Mitch is the perfect fern green color and type of engine I've always wanted in the model", Austin explains. His other vehicle, named Moe, is his daily stock car.

Austin runs an Instagram page, @318.ti , in appreciation of his cars model, the BMW 318 ti. This car guy shares mostly photographs of his cars but also reposts pictures submitted by the account's followers.


Austin's creativity is also shown through his music. He is musically gifted as he enjoys writing songs, singing, and playing the guitar.

Though he's owned a guitar for a few years, Austin started playing guitar seriously in May of 2020 when the Covid-19 restrictions hit. Almost a year later, Austin is a fully self taught guitarist and has found his singing voice. Austin sings a cover of country song, "Like a Cowboy" by Parker McCollum.


Photography is yet another trade that emulates Austin's creativity. Austin started with interest in capturing pictures with his phone of nature, cars, and his friends. His girlfriend, Katie Thomas, also shares a love for photography. They decided to start a donations-only photography business called, Photos by K&A. To start out, the couple teamed up and take pictures of events and weddings for family and friends. They now accept bookings to photograph school seniors, couples, families, individuals, and events at a "pick your own price".

Austin's girlfriend, Katie, explains why she admires Austin. Austin loves and cares deeply about not only his friends and family but, "Even to strangers, he's always kind and generous to everyone he meets." Katie also goes on to say that these characteristics can be hard to find in people and that "Austin's kindness will always set him apart."
