KEEP CALM & FINAL ON !

Finals week is among us and is the most stressful week of the semester for most students. Here are some great ways to take time to yourself and relieve stress!


1. Fuel up!

Head to your favorite coffee shop, Starbucks or Dunkin, (we appreciate all coffee here) and get yourself fueled up for finals! Both Starbucks and Dunkin' offer a number of breakfast foods and treats. So treat yourself with a cake pop and or donut munchkins. Coffee and espresso are popular caffeinated drinks to order, but if you do not like coffee there are other options! Both Dunkin' and Starbucks have a selection of caffeinated teas and fruit refresher drinks for non- coffee drinkers.


2. Exercise!

Breaking a sweat is one of the best ways to relieve stress. Exercise has been proven to improve moods and pump up your endorphins which is exactly what is needed during finals week.


3. Bubble Bath or Spa Shower

Dim the lights, Light some candles, turn on your favorite chill playlist and enjoy a hot bath or shower, (whichever you prefer!) Bubble bath and bath salts with essential oils work perfectly to fill the bathroom with a pleasant aroma. Some oils, such as lavender help to influence relaxation. If you prefer a shower, try finding some shower bombs (much like bath bombs). Shower and bath bombs fizz and fill the shower or tub with its scent and sometimes color for a fun experience.


4. Do not be so hard on yourself!

This one is sometimes difficult to do, as most people are their own biggest critics. But don't get down on yourself now. You are working hard, people are noticing, and you will succeed.
